The estimate is based on the amount, quantity of poison ivy, and the risk involved to remove all leaves, vines and roots. The risk includes rock walls, rocky yards, trees, fences, when exposed for an extended period of time, has a constant water supply, and very large areas covered with poison ivy. 

Hand tools are used to loosen the dirt around the poison ivy, the individual vines are followed to the corresponding roots which are followed into the ground, dug out and placed into a bag or tarp. 

The 3x return guarantee, which lasts one year, is provided to include any small pieces of root, left in the ground. After several rains, any missed poison ivy will regenerate, grow new vines and leaves and can be identified.
